Construction of Drainage Mound
The Problem
Due to an existing discharge being subject to a land dispute, an alternative discharge solution was required. Porosity testing revealed the ground to be unsuitable for installation of a drainage field.
Work undertaken
- Install new final effluent pumping station on the back of existing Treatment Plant
- Design and construct drainage mound
- Liaise with building control to ensure full certification upon completion
